WEEK 2 – DEVELOPMENT

Individual Triggers

trigger 1

Trigger (1) – Entering level:

  1. -> Freeze world, movement
  2. -> Play dialogue
  3. -> End dialogue
  4. -> Unfreeze movement
  5. -> Unfreeze Attack

trigger 2

Trigger (2) – Timer after first rock destroyed:

  1. -> Freeze movement
  2. -> Play dialogue
  3. -> Start falling rocks
  4. -> End dialogue (movement still frozen)
  5. -> Spawn falling rock above player location (MUCH reduced damage – separate rock actor blueprint)
  6. -> Keep spawning until player successfully blocks rock
  7. -> Unfreeze player movement
  8. -> Play dialogue [congratulate player]
  9. -> End dialogue

trigger 3

Trigger (3) – When first fault line appears:

  1. -> Play dialogue (do not freeze world or movement)
  2. -> End dialogue
  3. -> Unfreeze dodge roll

trigger 4

Trigger (4) – When 4 out of 5 rocks destroyed:

  1. -> Play dialogue (do not freeze world or movement)
  2. -> End dialogue
  3. -> Unfreeze jump

trigger 5

Trigger (5) – When 5 out of 5 rocks destroyed:

  1. -> Win state
